"When I found this little book I knew it would be the perfect one to use for this show. She is part of an on going series of Ghost Confessionals. The elaborately cut back ground is reminiscent of old confessional screens. The ghost is painted on a page of the book from the story "Kari Aasen in Heaven" with the words "But your body's already buried, so you will always be invisible". How much more ghostly could you get? The hand embroidery on the cover uses four different colors of vintage thread. The pale green turning to gray represents the passage of life to death. The green to yellow is the transition of death to spirit."
