"Dock the Almighty is a guardian of fields and seasons, dying and resurrecting year after year. He is dressed in weathered earthy robes, yet has a gold crown, symbolising his power. This character has been inspired in part by Ludvig Holberg's book "Niels Klim's Journey Under the Ground", about a world in the centre of the Earth inhabited and ruled by walking and talking trees, and in part by the aesthetics of the Orthodox icons."
