Roll up, rollup, roll up...that tiny tinkling bell you think you might have just heard ...listen again,.tune in to it, if you dare!

No one knows exactly where Bellow came from. Some say he hatched between records in a forgotten collection. Others claim he's much older, from the gasp before a circus laugh, the sigh between the notes of a drunken pirate's shanty .Or older still.
What is known is this: Bellow is perched ready to croon ghostly lullabies into the mind of anyone who wanders too close. This melancholic little flutterbug is very mischievous and prone to bursting into strange thought melodies at exactly the wrong (or right) time...He plays the songs you forgot you knew, and a few notes from his ethereal concertina might make you suddenly remember a forgotten smell, a lost friend, or why you loved rainy days as a child. He can be persuaded to silence these mind sounds briefly with offerings. He particularly likes late-night snacks(prefably stale popcorn), but be wary of any intoxicants....these may accidentally summon wistful sighs, daydream-induced tripping hazards, and spontaneous dancing .
Oh, and he hates metronomes ("too predictable") and a silence that's too thick to dance through!
If Bellow is prooving elusive, he may be summoned with this small ritual...
Light a candle....as we l know moths and flames. and recite a silly rhyme like:
“Flutter and bellows, twitchy and bright,
Steal my doubt with your concertina 🪗might"...
but I claim no responsibility for anything that might happen!

Bellow is a mixed-media sculpture, created with clay, resin, fabric, paper, wire, beads, a vintage cotton spool, vintage music sheets, vintage tiny bells, acrylic paint and metal findings. His wings are a mix of paper,with my drawings on, vintage music sheets, wire, and resin. He is 24 cm tall and his wings span 30 cm wide.

• Offering Ritual: Place a candle on Bellow's tongue , or offer him something to swallow, ...or dare to offer your fingers to the clown's gaping mouth to unearth a hidden, haunting melody.(there is a secret music box)
