Title: IMP SQUEAK - Yorick
Size: 12 cm high, 7cm wide and 10 cm long.
Materials used: Porcelain and textiles – black porcelain, sand, stuffing, metal, black mohair, liberty tana lawn fabric, buttons, ribbon, embroidery thread and one unakite jasper stone.

Imp Squeaks are porcelain and textile dolls, or – for those too grownup – fetish, and Yorick – like all imps – promises to be a companion for those wishing to befriend a haunted childhood.

Please note, Yorick is a most sombre toad, wanting to remind us that all must eat and be eaten. On his navel a crowned skull catching flies has been hand embroidered across his black mohair body. Yorick’s vision of memento mori evidently involves plenty of tongue, though he is an anuran and tongue is kinda their gig.

Yorick’s head and webbed paws are a black porcelain that have been hand carved and textured with warts. About his neck a jester’s collar has been fashioned from a Vintage Liberty print, tied with ribbon, and finished with bronze bells. Yorick is weighted and made to be seated, however his limbs move at hip and shoulder. For his heart stone a unakite jasper has been placed for its earthy green with mouth-pink mottling.”
